A love letter to the wild heart of northern Kenya.

There are places where the world feels older, quieter, and closer to its wildest self. The Pride of Samburu Tote is an ode to one of those places. Inspired by the Samburu people, who invited us to slow down- to notice, to listen, and reconsider what it means to live a meaningful life. The Samburu people and their relationship to the land left a lasting impression on us: a reminder that there are countless ways to move through this world, and that a life does not have to resemble our own to be rich, beautiful, or complete.

The lion became a symbol of that feeling.

This original watercolour was created through field work in Samburu, capturing a male lion basking in the sun. Radiant, and completely at ease in his own existence, he asks nothing of the world except to be left exactly as it is.

The pride of Samburu tote is an invitation to do the same. To move through this world with less performance, to honour your authenticity, and dare to exist just as you are.
